Elizabeth is originally from Southern California. She took her first Pilates class in 2004, which led her to enrol for a semester of Pilates with her college’s dance department. The experience made such an impression that it led to an ongoing interest in fitness, wellness and bodywork. She spent many years living and travelling through Europe and Central America. She studied meditation, Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, eventually earning a yoga teaching certification in 2015 (RYT-200). An injury inspired her to rediscover Pilates, and she began taking classes at Corpus Studios in 2019. As a result, the life-changing physical improvements she experienced motivated her to go deeper with her training. She earned her studio comprehensive certification in 2023 and has taught at Corpus since. In addition to Pilates, Elizabeth teaches two innovative movement systems, CoreAlign and Bodhi Suspension System, and assists Kelly with studio management.
