Elizabeth is originally from Los Angeles, California. She took her first Pilates class in 2004, which led her to enrol for a semester of Pilates with her college’s dance department. The experience made such an impression that it led to an ongoing interest in fitness, wellness and bodywork. She spent many years living and travelling through Europe and Central America. She studied meditation, Hatha and Vinyasa yoga during that time, eventually earning a yoga teaching certification in 2015. She moved to Brussels that same year and began teaching yoga to U.S. military personnel stationed in Brussels. An injury inspired her to rediscover Pilates, and she started attending classes at Corpus Studios in 2019. The life-changing physical improvements she experienced due to regular Pilates practice at the studio motivated her to go deeper with her training and help others achieve the same benefits. She began training as an instructor with Corpus Pilates in 2020 and is working towards her comprehensive certification.
